the manor's own site, which also contains information of its
own about Across the Years.
Nardini Manor is a century-old country estate situated on
five and a half acres of land that includes a maze and a
100'x60' tent that will be heated and available for our use
during the race. The property is located in an area of
farmland, several miles from stores and conveniences.
Nardini Manor's owner Rodger Wrublik, a local ultrarunner,
is custom building a running path for our use around the
perimeter of the property.
On May 4, 2003, members of the race organizing committee met
at Nardini Manor to discuss race plans and view work in
progress on the running path. Below are 36 pictures taken at
the meeting, mainly of the running path. Click on any of the
thumbnails to view a larger version with some commentary.
Note: As you view these, keep in mind that there is
still much work to do on the track. Updated pictures will be
provided when they are available, probably in mid-July.
